The VIPer22A is a low power off-line SMPS primary switcher with a typical power capability of 12W to 20W.
It features a fixed 60 kHz switching frequency, a wide range VDD voltage of 9V to 38V, current mode control, auxiliary undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, high voltage start up current source, and overtemperature, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection with autorestart.
The device is suitable for off-line power supplies for battery charger adapters, standby power supplies for TV or monitors, and auxiliary supplies for motor control.
It comes in a SO-8 or DIP-8 package and has various order codes.
The device also has a feedback pin principle of operation and a wide range of VDD voltage.
The start-up sequence includes a high voltage start-up current source.
