Switching Characteristics of

Normally Closed Devices

The PLB190 is a single-pole, normally closed

(1-Form-B) solid state relay that uses optically

coupled relay technology to provide an enhanced

5000V

rms isolation barrier between the input and

output of the relay.

Its optically coupled outputs, which use the patented

OptoMOS architecture, are controlled by a highly

efficient GaAIAs infrared LED.
