Application Notes

1. NPN OFF-state leakage current is < 200 µA for load impedances > 3kΩ or optically

isolated loads. For load current of 100 mA, leakage is < 1% of load current.

2. Do not mount the sensor directly perpendicular to shiny surfaces; position it at

approximately a 15° angle in relation to the sensing target (see Installation Notes).

3. Minimize web or product "flutter" whenever possible to maximize sensing reliability.
