ACLineFiltersshouldbestoredinnormalworkingenvironments.Whilethechokesthemselvesarequiterobustinother

environments,solderabilitywillbedegradedbyexposuretohightemperatures,highhumidity,corrosiveatmospheres,and

longtermstorage.

KEMETrecommendsthatmaximumstoragetemperaturenotexceed40°Candmaximumstoragehumiditynotexceed70%

relativehumidity.Atmospheresshouldbefreeofchlorineandsulfurbearingcompounds.Temperaturefluctuationsshould

beminimizedtoavoidcondensationontheparts.Avoidstoragenearstrongmagneticfields,asthismightmagnetizethe

product.

Foroptimizedsolderability,AClinefiltersstockshouldbeusedpromptlyandpreferablywithin6monthsofreceipt.

Thevalueslistedfortemperaturerisearetheresultofself-heatinginwireswhentheratedcurrent(commercialfrequency)

is applied.
