General Description

06386 are .045-inch-thick, black, high performance, double-coated acrylic foam

tapes. These OEM-approved tapes are designed for reliable attachment of a wide

variety of automotive exterior and interior trim including body side moldings,

claddings, rocker panel moldings, wheel flares, bumper trim and most other

automotive trim.

3M Acrylic Plus Tape is OEM approved, utilizing breakthrough technology

recently developed by 3M. With its unique, new high-performance adhesives on

both sides, it offers improved adhesion over a variety of conditions, leading to

reduced rework and warranty issues, offering the following key performance

features:

• Superior adhesion build rate to automotive substrates

• More conformable core gives excellent wet-out (tape contact)

• Black, high-strength core maintains a thin, consistent bond line

• Easy liner release

3M Acrylic Plus Tapes part numbers 06382, 06383, 06384 and 06386 are

stronger, higher performing, higher stress handling products than other

automotive attachment tapes. These tapes offer more robust performance to
