Electrician’s Knife With Jacket Slicing Side Blade

• Resharpenable main blade for ringing and slicing cable jackets.

• Depth limited side blade for slicing thin jackets without insulation damage

or wire nicking.

• Comfortable-to-hold one-piece molded handle.

• Single tool can be used to remove the jacket on most cables commonly

installed by electricians, from 14-2 NM to 750 kcmil (MCM) THHN building

cable to 16-4 portable cord to 50 pair CM telephone cable.

• For large diameter cables such as 500 kcmil (MCM) THHN, use the main

blade to ring the cable and slice the jacket. Then simply peel off the

remaining jacket.

• For small cables such as NM-B, NM-D, and UF use the side blade to peel

the jacket. Pull back the peeled jacket, and then use the main blade to cut

off the excess.
