forcedintoanidlestatewheretheSSand
COMPpinsarepulledlowandbothswitches
areheldoff.IntheeventofUVLOfault,the
SP7661remainsinthisidlestateuntilthe
UVLOfaultisremoved.Uponthedetection
ofathermalorshort-circuitfault,aninternal
100mstimerisactivated.Intheeventofa
short-circuitfault,arestartisattemptedim-
mediatelyafterthe100mstimeoutexpires.
Whereas,whenathermalfaultisdetected
the100msdelaycontinuouslyrecyclesanda
restartcannotbeattempteduntilthethermal
faultisremovedandthetimerexpires.
