as
dynamic range of a DAC before spurious noise
internally-generated random noise. Random noise is

characterized as a spectral density (nV/
√Hz). It is
the measure of the difference in amplitude between

DAC output noise is defined as any voltage deviation
analyzer, or from a Fourier transform, of the analog
of DAC output from the desired value (within a
output of the DAC. SFDR is specified in decibels
particular frequency band). It is measured with a DAC
relative to the carrier (dBc).

DAC is specified to provide; typically, the maximum
and minimum values are also specified. For an n-bit
DAC, these values are usually given as the values
matching with code 0 and 2n.
