INTRODUCTION

The MAT is a variable phase-angle triac trigger module. It is a compact, safe

and tamperproof unit capable of driving all typical triacs on 230/110V ac

regulator circuits. The unit has a manual control potentiometer and minimum

output trimmer built in a industrial panel mounting enclosure.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for most ac resistive or inductive loads via a triac, on single phase to

neutral supplies, within voltage limits.

FUSING

It is recommended to use semiconductor fast acting type fuses or circuit breakers

(Semiconductor-MCB) for unit/device protection. On initial ‘switch on’ some loads may need an

increased Factor of Safety (F of S) for unit and/or device protection.

CE MARKING

This product family carries a “CE marking”. These phase angle controllers need a suitable remote
