ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

1. Take care to ensure that if diesel fuel is spilt that it is cleaned away using

sand or treated with absorbent granules designed for the purpose.

2. Always make every effort to contain any spillage and prevent ingress into

the local water course.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION & OPERATION

1. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses

to the pump after removing the

black plastic caps as shown.

NOTE: The black plastic flange

remains fixed to the pump

connection.

2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses

to the pump using the hose clips

supplied.

• The hose and connections need

to be completely air tight,

otherwise air will be drawn in

and reduce the flow.

• The smaller hose (marked IN) is

designed to fit the dipstick

opening and the larger one is

the outlet hose.

3. Insert the inlet/outlet tubes into the engine dipstick opening and a suitable

container for waste oil.

4. Ensure the ON/OFF switch, located

at the rear of the pump, is set to

the OFF (O) position BEFORE

connecting the pump to the car

battery.
