FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

T he right or lef t channel is activat ed by t he corresponding position of the direct ion indicator through t he

direct ion input pins. Each t ime an output (or bot h) is activated, the buzzer is also activated through the

BUZZ pin at the double f requency than t he output(s). In emergency case, if the emergency button is

activated the two channels are turned on. At t he same t ime the emergency red LED is flashing. An

anti-t heft alarm can be connected to t he AL pin, in t hat condition if the anti-theft alarm is used the t wo

channels are activated.

I n case the device detects an undervoltage or an overvolt age condit ion the act ivat ed channel(s) are

automatically switched off whatever the input commands (LDIR, RDIR, AL, EM)

T he trailer detection is achieved wit h the ROL ext ernal resistor. In t hat case the green trailer LED is

f lashing t hrough t he pin LEDT in synchronism with t he outputs.

The low load det ection is achieved with the ROL external resistor connected between RO L pin and RT pin.

I f a low load condition has been detected the output flashing frequency on the guilty channel and the

buzzer frequency will be double (in direct ion mode only) .

I n case of overloading of t he power outputs t he duty cycle is reduced int ernally by t he device itself so as to

keep maximum junct ion temperature wit hin safe limits.
