TESTING

Functional testing can be performed by one of the

following methods:

• Hold a magnet in the slot marked “Test” on the

housing until the LED lights. Confirm that the

system control unit (if used) alarms properly

and performs all auxiliary functions.

Reset: Place a magnet in the slot marked

“Reset”

• Using the RCM-505 or RCM-606 remote test

unit - Insert the key and turn clockwise to the

“TEST” position and hold until the LED lights.

Reset: Turn the key counterclockwise to the

“Reset” position and hold. The LED will extin-

guish. Turn the key to the normal position and

remove.
