dis� �ased data logger. Fig � shows the schematic o� this simple application. The �C signal input is connected to

th� 10-bit ana�og�� to digita� conv�rt�r on board th� Microchip ��IC. Th� ��IC cod� tak�� a pr�-d�fin�d n���b�r of

�a��p��� and th�n �rit�� th� corr��ponding �SCII va���� to a co����a ��parat�d va��� (CS�) fi�� on th� �SB fla�h

di�k attach�d to th� �DRI�E2 ��od���. �inc�����’� DOS �ik� �SCII co����and� �i��p�ify th� ta�k of fi�� hand�ing. �n

e�tended ��CII command set is designed �or use with a terminal whilst a shortened he�adecimal version is used with

a microcontroller.
