Basic Terminal Material. The

basic terminal is constructed of

fine grade high conductivity copper

per ASTM B-152 and tin-plated per

ASTM B-545.

AMP’s special plating process cre -

ates durable corrosion resistance

to salt spray and most chemical

fumes.

Funnel Entry. Molded insulation

for ease of wire insertion and

snug fit over MIL-standard wire

diameters.

Dimples. Dimples afford maximum

contact of barrel and wire and

maximum tensile strength.

Insulation. Nylon insulation for

dielectric strength, color coded to

wire size.

TERMINYL Terminals meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-T-7928, Type II,Class 2.
