Background Suppression

For instances where the background may affect

sensing performance, or cause false detections,

utilize a background suppression sensor to

achieve an accurate detection.

BGS Functionality

The sensor judges that an object is present

when light is received at position A of the light-

receiving element (2-segment element).

This is useful if the object and background are

far apart. The distance adjustment is the same

as the conventional adjustment method for

adjustable range reflective sensors.
