Startup settings, interface selection The lower part of the Startup settings dialog, instead, allows specifying the interface to be used (Figure 3, highlighted in red). Please note that when selecting the AP Interface (use this option for the LPT interface too) or the USB option, respectively the available parallel ports or the available COM ports will be enumerated in the drop-down menu on the right. Select the correct interface and communication port, then press OK. Among the physical interfaces the Simulation option is also available. Use this option if you do not want to be connected to an interface (APW evaluation and testing only). |
