Grounding Straps

Copper Ground Strap

• Ground strap used to provide a fixed and permanent connection between a copper

water pipe to a copper ground wire.

• Made of pure copper (ASTM B152-110) and brass fasteners

(ASTM B16-360 and B134-260.

• All longitudinal dimensions are based on disassembled pieces.

Galvanized Ground Strap

• Ground strap used to provide a fixed and permanent connection between a galvanized

steel pipe and a copper ground wire.

• Made of G90 galvanized steel that meets Salt Test ASTM B117.

Fasteners are made of brass, nickel plated (ASTM B16-360 and

B134-260) to create a neutral for galvanized to copper connection.

• All longitudinal dimensions are based on disassembled pieces.
