A fuse mounted inside the converter protects against damages in case

of a failure. The fuse is not user-accessible.Reverse polarity at the input

will cause the fuse to blow .

A VDR (Voltage Dependent Resistor) and a common mode input filter

form an effec�ve protec�on against input transients in severe environ-

ment like railways with EN50155.

No Front panel (F)

The PST22 is built as standard with a aluminum front panel as

described in the mechanical data. In applica�ons where the com-

plete rack is covered by a single panel, the converter can be delivered

without front panel.

N+1 Redundancy (R)

The PST22 is equipped with an internal ac�ve redundant MOSFET

circuit providing very high reliability opera�on (described page 4) when

R op�on.

Very low profil 4TE (S)

With S op�on, the height will be reduced to 20,32mm for the front

panel, making very suitable for low profil applica�on. The heatsink

being significantly reduced , thermal dissipa�on decrease and power

-40°C opera�on (T)

The thermal grade of the Vicor the DC/DC converters used and other

components are changed to comply with low ambiant temperature.

Conformal coa�ng (V)

During manufacturing process , when V op�on is specified,

components and pcb are covered with an acrylic coa�ng to address

high level of ambiant humidity applica�on.
