The F­LB41 platform from Thor Fiber 

combines four independent L­Band 

transmitters and receivers into a common 19 

inch rackmount enclosure with dual power 

supplies.  The power supplies can be 

ordered for AC or DC power, and function in 

hot or cold standby mode.  The optics in the 

These systems can be custom ordered with special optics or connectors for various 

applications, but the most common use is for remote location of satellite TV antennas.  In the 

standard configuration, this system will support satellite TV services that have four coax 

cables coming from the antenna to the multiswitch.  Options include optical power levels and 

for supplying DC voltage over coax to power LNBs or active antennas.
