29 / 43 page ![]() SARA-R4 series - Data sheet UBX-16024152 - R18 Electrical specifications Page 29 of 43 4.3 Parameters for ATEX applications This section provides useful parameters and information to integrate SARA-R4 series modules in applications intended for use in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX), describing: Total internal capacitance and inductance of the modules (see Table 25) Maximum RF output power and voltage at the antenna (ANT) pin of the modules (see Table 26) ☞ Any specific applicable requirement for the implementation of the apparatus integrating the SARA-R4 series modules, intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, must be fulfilled according to the exact applicable standards: check the detailed requisites on the pertinent normative for the application, as for example the IEC 60079-0 [13], IEC 60079-11 [14], and IEC 60079-26 [15] standards. ☞ The certification of the application device that integrates a SARA-R4 series module and the compliance of the application device with all the applicable certification schemes, directives and standards required for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are the sole responsibility of the application device manufacturer. Table 25 describes the maximum total internal capacitance and the maximum total internal inductance, considering internal parts tolerance, of the SARA-R4 series modules.
