13 / 64 page  11 µPD78P014 1. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN µPD78P014 AND MASK ROM VERSION The µPD78P014 incorporates one-time PROM which can be written to once only, or EPROM to which programs can be written, erased and rewritten. By setting the internal memory size switching register, it is possible to make the functions of this device, except for the PROM specification and mask option for pins P60 to P63, identical to those of a mask ROM version. The differences between µPD78P014 and mask ROM versions are shown in Table 1-1. Table 1-1.
