Pulling the MCLR pin low generates a device Reset. The basic connection and interface diagram of

1. The capacitor can be sized to prevent unintentional Resets from brief glitches or to extend the

device Reset period during Power-on Reset (POR).

Device Firmware Update

The WILCS02 Module is available for purchase with pre-programmed firmware. Microchip

periodically releases the firmware to fix reported issues or to implement the latest feature support.

There are two ways to perform a regular firmware update:

1. Serial DFU command-based update over UART

2. Firmware Sideloader

Interface with Host Microcontroller

The WILCS02 Module can be interfaced with the host microcontroller through the SDIO/SPI signals

along with additional signals.
