DESCRIPTION

The M5913 is fully integrated PCM (pulse code

modulation) codecs and transmit/receive filter us-

ing CMOS silicon gate technology.

The primary applications for the M5913 are tele-

phone systems :

- Switching - M5913-Digital PBX’s and Central

Office Switching Systems

- Concentration - M5913 Subscriber Carrier and

Concentrators.

The wide dynamic range (78dB) and the minimal

conversion time make it ideal products for other

applications such as:

- Voice Store and Forward

- Secure Communications Systems

- Digital Echo Cancellers

- Satellite Earth Stations.
