This implies that both devices are using this method and they are setting the same OOB data defined through an out of band communication (example: NFC). 3.6 Service and characteristic discovery This section describes the main functions allowing a BlueNRG, BlueNRG-MS GAP central device to discover the GAP peripheral services & characteristics, once the two devices are connected. The sensor profile demo services & characteristics with related handles are used as reference services and characteristics on the following pseudocode examples. Further, it is assumed that a GAP central device is connected to a GAP peripheral device running the Sensor Demo profile application.
