Inventory response format Response SOF Response_flags DSFID UID CRC16 Response EOF - 8 bits 8 bits 64 bits 16 bits - During an Inventory process, if the VCD does not receive an RF ST25TV02K/512 response, it waits for a time t3 before sending an EOF to switch to the next slot. t3 starts from the rising edge of the request EOF sent by the VCD. • If the VCD sends a 100% modulated EOF, the minimum value of t3 is: • t3min = 4384/fC (323.3µs) + tSOF • If the VCD sends a 10% modulated EOF, the minimum value of t3 is: • t3min = 4384/fC (323.3µs) + tNRT + t2min where: • tSOF is the time required by the ST25TV02K/512 to transmit an SOF to the VCD, • tNRT is the nominal response time of the ST25TV02K/512. tNRT and tSOF are dependent on the ST25TV02K/512-to-VCD data rate and subcarrier modulation mode. Note: In case of error, no response is sent by ST25TV02K/512. 6.4.5 Stay Quiet On receiving the Stay Quiet command, the ST25TV02K/512 enter the Quiet state if no error occurs, and does NOT send back a response. There is NO response to the Stay Quiet command even if an error occurs. When in the Quiet state: • the ST25TV02K/512 do not process any request if the Inventory_flag is set, • the ST25TV02K/512 process any request with Address_flag set. The ST25TV02K/512 exit the Quiet state when: • it is reset (power off), • receiving a Select request. It then goes to the Selected state, • receiving a Reset to Ready request. It then goes to the Ready state. Request parameters: • request flags • UID Table 43.
