Input Under-Voltage-Lockout (UVLO)

The

RT6310

provides

Under-Voltage-Lockout

(UVLO) function that monitors the input voltage. In order

to protect the device from operating at insufficient input

voltage, the UVLO function inhibits switching when input

voltage drops below the UVLO falling threshold. The IC

resumes switching when input voltage exceeds the

UVLO rising threshold.

Enable Control and Mode Selection

The EN/MODE pin integrates both enable control and

mode

selection

(USM/DEM)

for

RT6310A/AH/B/BH/C/CH, but only provides enable

control for RT6310D/DH. If EN/MODE voltage is less

than 0.23V, the RT6310 is turned off (shutdown). If

EN/MODE

voltage

larger

than

0.88V,

the

RT6310D/DH is turned on and the operation mode is

DEM. If EN/MODE voltage ranges from 0.88V to 1.7V,

the RT6310A/AH/B/BH/C/CH is turned on and the

operation mode is USM. Moreover, if EN/MODE voltage

is larger than 2.3V, the RT6310A/AH/B/BH/C/CH is

turned on and the operation mode is DEM. For the

please refer to Table 1 and Table 2.
