18 / 36 page  SM5846AP NIPPON PRECISION CIRCUITS—18 Control flag functions when MSD is HIGH (default) Other requests are controlled by internal flag only because there is no corresponding input pin. These control flags are valid when MDS is HIGH. The default values are shown in the following table. Clock Functions Input clock frequency switching (CKS) This switch is used to select the input clock fre- quency—384fs or 512fs (normal-speed sampling), and 192fs or 256fs (high-speed sampling). Crystal oscillator control switch (CKEN) This switch is used to start/stop the crystal oscillator circuit.
