67 / 90 page  Rev. 1.11 66 April 11, 2017 Rev. 1.11 67 April 11, 2017 HT45F56 Shock Detector Flash MCU HT45F56 Shock Detector Flash MCU Interrupts Interruptsareanimportantpartofanymicrocontrollersystem.Whenanexternaleventoran internalfunctionsuchasaTimerModuleoranA/Dconverterrequiresmicrocontrollerattention, theircorrespondinginterruptwillenforceatemporarysuspensionofthemainprogramallowingthe microcontrollertodirectattentiontotheirrespectiveneeds.Thesedevicescontainseveralexternal interruptandinternalinterruptsfunctions.Theexternalinterruptsaregeneratedbytheactionof theexternalINT0andINT1pins,whiletheinternalinterruptsaregeneratedbyvariousinternal functionssuchastheTMs,TimeBase,EEPROM,Comparatoranddebouncecircuit. Interrupt Registers Overallinterruptcontrol,whichbasicallymeansthesettingofrequestflagswhencertain microcontrollerconditionsoccurandthesettingofinterruptenablebitsbytheapplicationprogram, iscontrolledbyaseriesofregisters,locatedintheSpecialPurposeDataMemory,asshownin theaccompanyingtable.TheseregistersaretheINTC0~INTC2registerswhichsetuptheprimary interrupts. Eachregistercontainsanumberofenablebitstoenableordisableindividualinterruptsaswell asinterruptflagstoindicatethepresenceofaninterruptrequest.Thenamingconventionofthese followsaspecificpattern.Firstislistedanabbreviatedinterrupttype,thenthe(optional)numberof thatinterruptfollowedbyeitheran“E”forenable/disablebitor“F”forrequestflag.
