3 / 27 page ![]() 5 Description (continued) The integrated SHA-256 functionality helps enable secure identification between systems and packs. The interrupt and BTP functions facilitate the BQ27Z561-R2 device to inform the system when a specific state-of- charge (SOC), voltage, or temperature condition occurs. The low-voltage operation enables the system to continue monitoring the battery even in deeply discharged conditions. CE D3 I Active-high chip enable BAT_SNS C2 AI Battery sense INT A1 O Interrupt for voltage, temperature, and state of charge (programmable active high or low) PULS A2 O Programmable pulse width with active-high or -low option TS B1 AI Temperature input for ADC NU C3 NC Makes no external connection SCL B3 I/O Serial clock for I2C interface that requires an external pullup when used. It can be left floating if unused. SDA/HDQ A3 I/O Serial data for I2C interface and one-wire interface for HDQ (selectable) that requires an external pullup when used.
