Table 4 lists the PLLs together with their maximum frequency and phase noise performance. Table 4. One can be chosen depending on the local oscillator frequency required. While the use of the integrated synthesizer might come at the expense of slightly degraded noise performance from the ADL5385, it can be a cheaper alternative to a separate PLL and VCO solution. Table 5 shows the options available. Table 5.
