IRQ - Interrupt request pin

●

It is an open drain pin activated (low) every time a variation occurs in the diagnostic

register.

●

Purpose: to alert the

μP that one or more warning bit of the diagnostic register has

changed from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0.

●

An activation of this pin puts the bit s0 of the status register to 1 (start diagnostic) like

an operation e (diagnostic procedure start). Then an operation F has to be executed

without an operation E before.

●

After an operation F, the IRQ pin is deactivated, and goes to 1 if connected to a pull-up

resistor.
