The inverter section of the IPM module includes an optimized SOI gate driver and a three-phase inverter consisting of TRENCHSTOP™ IGBTs and anti-parallel diodes. The three pairs of capacitors C14 and C15, C16 and C17, C22 and C23 are used as bootstrap capacitors to provide the necessary floating supply voltages VBS1, VBS2 and VBS3, respectively.
