30 / 44 page  Power-up and power-down M35B32 30/44 DocID18391 Rev 4 7.1.4 Power-down At power-down (continuous decrease in VCC), as soon as VCC drops from the normal operating voltage to below the power on reset threshold voltage, the device is reset and stops responding to any instruction sent to it. During power-down, the device must be deselected (the Chip Select (S) should be allowed to follow the voltage applied on VCC) and in Standby Power mode (that is, there should be no internal Write cycle in progress). As an extra protection, the Reset (RESET) signal can be driven low for the whole duration of the power-up and power-down phases. |
