connection of this pin to an external current or voltage

It is intended for channel A 22 kHz tone control.

It can be used as DiSEqC envelope input or external 22 kHz

TTL input depending on the EXTM-A I²C bit setting as

follows:

If EXTM-A=0, TEN-A=1: it accepts the DiSEqC envelope

code from the main microcontroller. The LNBH26LS uses

this code to modulate the internally generated 22 kHz
