16.2 Capacitor Derating
Ceramic capacitors are known to lose their capacitance rapidly depending on different factors. The
output capacitance of each buck is reduced by static tolerance, voltage, temperature, and aging, see
Table 41. These derating factors needs to take into consideration when the bucks are evaluated.
