Figure 12: Application example with using the ALERT functionality

In Figure 12, the connections of the AS6221T temperature sensor to a microcontroller and the

supply voltage are shown.

The AS6221T is connected to a microcontroller via an I²C bus (SDA and SCL only).

Additionally the Alert output can also be used for temperature monitoring (e.g. using the

interrupt mode, refer to IM bit settings), an example is given in Figure 12 where the Alert output

is connected to microcontroller.
