2-2. Sound Blaster Pro Block

Sound Blaster Pro block emulates the DSP commands of Sound Blaster and Sound Blaster Pro.

Only

playback functions are supported (record functions are not supported).

However, to maintain

compatibility for games, it is designed so that every DSP command receives a correct response.

The DMA transfer of this block uses PC/PCI or D-DMA protocol.
