reducedtoaminimumvalue.WhenthebitishightheSIMinterfaceisenabled.Ifthe

SIMisconfiguredtooperateasanSPIinterfaceviatheSIM2~SIM0bits,thecontents

oftheSPIcontrolregisterswillremainattheprevioussettingswhentheSIMENbit

changesfromlowtohighandshouldthereforebefirstinitialisedbytheapplication

program.IftheSIMisconfiguredtooperateasanI2CinterfaceviatheSIM2~SIM0

bitsandtheSIMENbitchangesfromlowtohigh,thecontentsoftheI2Ccontrolbits

suchasHTXandTXAKwillremainattheprevioussettingsandshouldthereforebe

firstinitialisedbytheapplicationprogramwhiletherelevantI2CflagssuchasHCF,

HAAS,HBB,SRWandRXAKwillbesettotheirdefaultstates.

to1buttheSCSlineispulledhighbytheexternalmasterdevicebeforetheSPIdata

transferiscompletelyfinished,theSIMICFbitwillbesetto1togetherwiththeTRF

bit.Whenthisconditionoccurs,thecorrespondinginterruptwilloccuriftheinterrupt

functionisenabled.However,theTRFbitwillnotbesetto1iftheSIMICFbitisset

to1bysoftwareapplicationprogram.
