88 / 142 page  Command codes M24LR04E-R 88/142 Doc ID 022208 Rev 5 26.5 Read Multiple Block When receiving the Read Multiple Block command, the M24LR04E-R reads the selected blocks and sends back their value in multiples of 32 bits in the response. The blocks are numbered from 00h to 1FFh in the request and the value is minus one (–1) in the field. For example, if the “Number of blocks” field contains the value 06h, seven blocks are read. The maximum number of blocks is fixed at 32 assuming that they are all located in the same sector. If the number of blocks overlaps sectors, the M24LR04E-R returns an error code. The Protocol_extension_flag should be set to 0 for the M24LR04E-R to operate correctly.
