57 / 182 page  ! 44 Expansion Data Memory Unit Mount the Expansion Data Memory Unit to the CV1000 CPU using the following procedure. 1, 2, 3... 1. Turn OFF the power to the PC. Caution Do not attempt to mount or remove the Memory Unit while the power to the PC is ON. During mounting or removal, exercise care that you do not directly touch the memory elements or connector pins of the Unit. Hold the Unit by the lever. 2. Remove the Expansion Data Memory Unit cover on the front panel of the CPU by pushing the lever on the cover upwards, as indicated by the arrow on the cover. Bracket screw Bracket 3. Loosen the bracket screw and remove the bracket. Expansion Data Memory Unit PCB guides Pullout lever 4. Hold the Expansion Data Memory Unit with the component side to the right, and insert the Unit into the PCB guides. In doing so, a slight resistance will be felt as the connector on the Memory Unit mates with the connector on the CPU. Continue pushing until the Memory Unit is inserted completely into the CPU.
