The VREF1 nominal voltage specification shows the guaranteed minimum and maximum values over different ICs. The variation in VREF1 nominal voltage does not affect the LSB size of the ADCs that use VREF1 as their reference. For a single IC, all further variation of VREF1 (such as due to drift over temperature, reflow soldering, lifetime, and thermal hysteresis) is included in the TME and gain error specifications of the ADCs. The VREF1 specifications are for informational purposes only and do not need to be considered in the system design process. 2 The VREF2 voltage is stable across operating conditions, but its nominal value may vary between different ICs. The VREF2 nominal voltage specification shows the guaranteed minimum and maximum values over different ICs. The OCxADCs use VREF2 as their reference, but the nominal voltage variation of VREF2 does not affect the OCxADC LSB size. For a single IC, all further variation of VREF2 (such as due to drift over temperature, reflow soldering, lifetime, and thermal hysteresis) is included in the TME and gain error specifications of the OCxADCs. 3 The VREF2 long-term drift includes variation of VREF2 due to, for example, reflow soldering, lifetime, and thermal hysteresis. 4 This specification covers all variation in VREF2 over temperature and lifetime. |
