The TLS version consists of the major in the MSB, and the minor in the LSB. The input and output fragment processing is the same as for SSL MAC, shown in Figure 15 on page 16. SSL/TLS DES/3DES The BCM5812 includes a pure DES/3DES operation for use with SSL and TLS. The command context and packet fragment processing is very similar to that for 3DES IPsec, except that authentication is not performed. Figure 18 shows the command context for SSL/TLS DES/3DES, which is always 64 bytes in length even though only 40 bytes are used. The only control flag, bit 14, indicates direction (zero indicates outbound, the same as in Table 4 on page 7). The reserved fields must be zero. The opcode for this command is 0x03.
