49 / 116 page  ST20-GP1 49/116 ® 8 Memory subsystem The memory system consists of SRAM and a programmable memory interface. The specific details on the operation of the memory interface are described separately in Chapter 9. 8.1 SRAM There is an internal memory module of 4 Kbytes of SRAM. The internal SRAM is mapped into the base of the memory space from MinInt (#80000000) extending upwards, as shown in Figure 8.1. This memory can be used to store on-chip data, stack or code for time critical routines.
