21 / 248 page ![]() TMP93CS40/TMP93CS41 2004-02-10 93CS40-19 (1) Switching from NORMAL to SLOW mode When the resonator is connected to the X1 and X2, or to the XT1 and XT2 pins, the warm-up timer is used to change the operation frequency after stable oscillation is attained. The warm-up time can be selected by WDMOD<WARM>. This starting and stopping of the warm-up timer are performed by programming as in the following examples 1 and 2. Note 1: The warm-up timer is also used as a watchdog timer. So when it is to be used as a warm-up timer, the watchdog timer function must be disabled. Note 2: In the case of using an oscillator (not resonator) with stable oscillation, a warm-up timer is not needed. Note 3: The warm-up timer is operated by an oscillation clock. Therefore there is an error in, warm-up time.
