Note:

CSM_SAMPLE_CFG and CSM_SSPV_PH_CFG configurations can be separately configured with no internal

gating.

This way all the following configurations are allowed to take place in principle:

1. Auto-Triggering only (NO Command Edge) + Free Running

2. Auto-Triggering only (NO Command Edge) + T&H

3. Command Edge Triggering + Free Running

4. Command Edge Triggering + T&H

In scenario 2) CMn_READ and CSOn value won’t be updated and the value displayed reflects the last valid

value or the default non valid value as ever been captured.

This possibility in case not specifically needed by application shall be avoided by the application SW itself.

Note:

In the following timing diagrams, N-th A/D Out value corresponds to the SAR conversion value.
