18 / 136 page  PIC12F629/675 DS41190G-page 18 2010 Microchip Technology Inc. 2.2.2.6 PCON Register The Power Control (PCON) register contains flag bits to differentiate between a: • Power-on Reset (POR) • Brown-out Detect (BOD) • Watchdog Timer Reset (WDT) • External MCLR Reset The PCON Register bits are shown in Register 2-6. REGISTER 2-6: PCON: POWER CONTROL REGISTER (ADDRESS: 8Eh) 2.2.2.7 OSCCAL Register The Oscillator Calibration register (OSCCAL) is used to calibrate the internal 4 MHz oscillator. It contains 6 bits to adjust the frequency up or down to achieve 4 MHz. The OSCCAL register bits are shown in Register 2-7.
