SPI Write-Read operation 5.20.2.2 Read-Read operations 1st Frame: Read Access to Register X As the NCS rising edge is detected, if it is valid, the command is processed but the R/W register X register data remains unchanged as R/W bit is zero and the output buffer is updated with data Y1. 2nd Frame: Read Access to Register X As the NCS falling edge is detected, the register X with data Y1 is started being shifted out on MISO bus. The X register data remains unchanged as R/W bit is zero, the following MISO frame will be updated with the data Y2. Figure 83. SPI Read-Read operation 5.20.2.3 Clear on Read Operations 1st Frame: Read Access to Register X As the NCS rising edge is detected, if it is valid, the command is processed but the R/W register X register data remains unchanged as R/W bit is zero and the output buffer is updated with data Y1. After the output buffer is updated correctly the X register flags are cleared. 2nd Frame: Read Access to Register X As NCS falling edge is detected, the register X with data Y1 is started being shifted out on MISO bus.
