Description:

This offsets the horizontal scale from its nominal value. A positive number stretches the image and a

negative number compresses the image.

If the value written to HSS is beyond the internally calculated limit, the maximum (or minimum in case of a

negative number) will be written back to the HSS register. An external processor can then read HSS to

determine if the last value written to HSS was beyond the limit.

NOTE: It can take up to 25ms for the internal micro-controller calculates the limits for HPO, VPO, HSS,

VSS, HPP, and VPP. These registers should not be read until 10ms after writing to any of these registers.
