Description:

Tells the internal controller the total number of usable lines on the output device.

If the value written to TVL is beyond the limit, the new mode will not be calculated and the ERROR bit in

SSR will be set.

Any change to TV_CLK, PROG_INT, or PAL_NTSC fields in the HCRS register causes the internal

micro-controller to initialize TVL register to a default value appropriate to the new output mode.
