41 / 157 page ![]() STA321 Digital processing stage Doc ID 15351 Rev 3 41/157 6.9 Bass and treble control Preset values for the 11th and 12th biquads of every channel are stored in ROM in order to achieve a bass and treble tone control. They are channel independent and have 24 curves ranging from -12 to +12 dB gain with 1 dB steps. Their selection (and enable) is via registers BASS_SELx_R and TREB_SELx_R where x is the number of the channel to be equalized. The EQ curve and filter cut-off frequencies are shown in Figure 23 and Figure 24. With a sampling frequency of 96 kHz (inside the processing block), the cut-off frequencies are 3 kHz for treble curves and 150 Hz for bass curves. Figure 23.
